A piece of the American West, preserved.
To Preserve And To Protect The Natural Resource And Human History Of The Robbers Roost Country
To Offer Educational Opportunities And The Option For Individuals
To Reconnect With The Land & Spirit
For generations, this land has been part of our family's history. Nestled along the rim of Happy Canyon, these weathered structures and sweeping desert landscapes tell the story of a life shaped by the American West. The cabins, fences, and corrals that still stand here are testaments to the resilience and spirit of those who called this place home.
Our inaugural project is the careful relocation of century-old buildings from the historic Biddlecome/Ekker Ranch at Crow Seep in the heart of Roost Country. These structures will be moved to our Green River City property, situated upriver from the John Wesley Powell River History Museum, where they can be preserved and shared with the public.
Looking ahead, we envision a Learning Center dedicated to the rich history of the entire region—spanning from the Green River crossing of Fathers Escalante and Dominguez in 1776 to the present day. This center will serve as an educational hub, connecting visitors with the stories, landscapes, and heritage that have shaped this remarkable corner of the American West.
Your support helps protect and maintain this historic landscape for future generations. Every contribution goes directly toward preserving the structures, trails, and natural beauty of Happy Canyon Rim.
